For agencies & directors

How Agencies Use Direbase
Audit the prospect, attach the PDF

Direbase is an SEO audit tool that lets web agencies and directors audit a client's or prospect's site from just its URL and use the results as evidence in a proposal. You can try 3 audits for free without signing up, and the PDF report you attach to a proposal is available on the Entry plan (¥980/month) and above.

Showing which items scored what, and where to start fixing, on a single document makes a proposal far more concrete than saying "your SEO looks weak." This page walks through the flow from auditing a prospect's site to attaching the report to your proposal, with links to the tools you use.

How it works

Four steps to a proposal-ready report

  1. 01

    Audit the prospect's URL

Enter the URL of the prospect's homepage or key pages and run an SEO check. Direbase scores the page out of 100 (up to 83 on the free plan) based on 45 items across four categories — structured data, basic SEO, content, and technical SEO — and shows what is missing item by item. To see whether the page is structured to be cited by AI search, run the AIO Readiness Check as well.

Site-wide diagnosis, which audits multiple pages at once, is available on Entry and above (up to 10 pages on Entry).

  2. 02

    Compare with competitors

Put the prospect next to competitors in the same industry or area and look at the score gap by category. Showing "competitors cover this item, but your site doesn't" makes the reason to fix it easy to understand.

Competitor comparison is available on Basic and above (3 sites at once; 6 on Pro).

  3. 03

    Export as a PDF

Use "Export PDF Report" on the SEO check results screen to export the results as an A4 report. It contains a cover, an executive summary, detailed check items, and Core Web Vitals, so you can attach it to your proposal as is. Past audits can also be exported from your dashboard history.

The PDF report is available on Entry and above. On Pro you can remove our branding and add your own company name and logo.

  4. 04

Attach it and show how to fix

Attach the PDF to your proposal and explain the priorities, starting from the lowest-scoring items. For JSON-LD, meta tags, and similar items, the audit results also give you ready-to-paste fix code, so you can show not only what to fix but how. After the work is done, audit the same URL again and use the score change in your report.

Fix code covers the top item on Free (after free sign-up), the top 2 on Entry, and every item on Basic and Pro.

Notes

Things to keep in mind in proposals

  • The score shows how closely a page's implementation follows Google's recommendations. It does not promise rankings or traffic, so present it in proposals as evidence of implementation gaps.
  • Direbase audits the page as it is published at the moment you enter the URL. If the site has changed before your proposal, audit it again before using the results.
  • Whether to name competitor sites in a proposal is your call, depending on your relationship with the prospect.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I audit a client's or prospect's site, not just my own?▾
Yes. When you enter a URL, Direbase fetches the published page and audits it, so you can audit a prospect's site the same way as your own. The audit makes no changes to that site.
Which plan lets me export the results as a PDF?▾
Entry (¥980/month) and above. You can export from the SEO check results screen and from your dashboard history. PDFs are not available on the Free plan.
Can I put my own company name and logo on the PDF?▾
On Pro (¥9,800/month), you can remove the Direbase branding and add the company name and logo you register in account settings. On Entry and Basic, a Direbase credit appears on the cover and in the footer.
Does the tool fix the problems automatically?▾
We do not build a feature that rewrites sites automatically, because writing to another company's live site without review makes responsibility unclear when something goes wrong. Instead, Direbase tells you where, why, and how to fix each issue, with ready-to-paste fix code (title, meta, headings, canonical, OGP, JSON-LD, and more). You can paste that code yourself or hand it to the AI you use.
How much can I try for free?▾
You can run 3 SEO checks without signing up. A free account gives you 3 checks a month and keeps your history and score trends. The Free plan score is out of 83; technical SEO items, PDF reports, and competitor comparison are paid features.
Which plan do I need to compare a prospect with competitors?▾
Competitor comparison is available on Basic (¥2,980/month) and above, with up to 3 sites at once. Pro allows up to 6 sites at once.
